Our event location is fully furnished and equipped with stage, lighting, sound, and media technology. Like a restaurant – just bigger! That means: no complicated planning, no costly setup or conversions.

An exciting mix of design, DIY elements, pallets, plush leather sofas, raised garden beds, containers, and plenty of creative solutions. A combination of old and new. Sustainable use of resources through consistent upcycling of materials.

The Alte Werft is divided into different areas – ideal for smaller, medium, and larger events. Here, you can host your conference, party, or product presentation. Or even all of them at once under one roof.
Conference area – Plenty of space for you, your team, your message, and your product.
In our conference area, you’ll find ideal conditions for your presentation. Here, you’ll benefit from state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and media technology, including a stage, interpreter booths, and flexible seating arrangements.
Lounge area – Plenty of space for team building, breakouts, and relaxing moments.
In our lounge area, you can hold workshops, simply retreat and sink into the plush Chesterfields, or display your products. It doesn’t get more flexible than this.
Catering area – Plenty of space for interaction, enjoyment, and communication.
In the main hall of the Alte Werft, your guests can gather at the large bar, on the pool deck, between old catering shipping containers, and in various cozy corners that offer new, exciting perspectives.
Anchor Bar: Our central bar serves you with cocktails, fine wines, and local beer from the Bremen brewing manufactory.
History
A look back reveals
The Alte Werft is a well-preserved part of the Atlas Works, which dates back to 1864. On August 16, 1928, the famous turbine passenger ship “Bremen” was launched from this site.
Until recently, the location was used by Kellogg’s as a logistics and warehouse facility.

From the A27 – take exit 18 onto the B6 towards “Bremen Centrum/Bremen-Überseestadt/Messe”, then take the B6 exit in the direction of “Gröpelingen/Walle/Überseestadt
From the A28 – take exit 24 onto the B75 towards “Bremen” – continue to the B6 in the direction of “Centrum/Stephanieviertel/Walle/Überseestadt
